Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer is required by a modern & friendly Specialist Law Firm based in Worthing, West Sussex.

You will be a Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer with 3-5 years’ PQE. This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor looking for personal and career growth opportunities; The successful candidate will undertake fee earning work in the Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Department and will administer all aspects of conveyancing working on behalf of the client and the firm.

The Role & Requirements

  • You will be able to undertake all aspects of Residential & Commercial Property work, such as:
  • Sales & Purchases (Commercial & Residential)
  • Re-mortgage
  • Buy-to-Let
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Freehold
  • Transfer of ownership
  • Landlord & Tenant
  • Commercial leasing
  • Rental agreements
  • Lease renewals
  • You must have excellent IT skills and be able to prioritise your workload efficiently in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • You will have excellent communication and client care skills.
  • You should be able to work well as part of a team.
  • You must have strong attention to detail.
  • You should have a positive and friendly manner.
  • You will have daily contact with clients and third parties. You will also have contact with Clients whom the Firm have working relationships, and you will be expected to act in a way which upholds these relationships and which conforms to any service level agreement they may have with a particular client.
  • Ability to spot potential opportunities with clients in all other aspects of the firms services
  • Solicitor/Licenced Conveyancer 3-5 years PQE preferred, however, someone with excellent experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge/experience of All aspects of Residential/Commercial Property Transactions.
  • strong sense of commercial awareness and ability to build good effective working relationships with local agents.
  • Experience of Case Management Systems.
  • Experience of managing a high-volume caseload of varied Property Transactions without supervision.
  • Friendly and proactive with a positive, hardworking attitude.
  • The desire to contribute towards the future development of the team and company.

Vacancy Information:

  • Location: Worthing, West Sussex
  • Salary range (DOE): £32,000 – £42,000
  • Job type: Permanent
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ PQE or substantial experience.
