Litigation Assistant

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a full or part time Assistant within our Dispute Resolution Department, assisting three of our litigation specialists.

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of assisting with litigation work.

You should have an excellent telephone manner and be able to communicate through all mediums available with clients, potential clients and other third parties.

You should have the ability to work efficiently and most importantly, accurately under pressure. You should have exceptional organisational abilities, together with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and part of a busy Team.

You should also be able to assist with ensuring that our files are compliant with our internal procedures and processes and for Lexcel accreditation and general secretarial duties and support.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent IT skills and be able to work well in a largely paperless environment.

The Team

The Dispute Resolution department encompasses Personal Injury, Property Litigation, Contentious Probate Commercial Litigation, Family and Corporate Commercial.

The team currently comprises nine fee earners and two assistants. Principally this role would be supporting three fee earners undertaking work in the areas of Property Litigation, Contentious Probate and Commercial Litigation.

This is a supportive dynamic team which covers a variety of interesting work and has a strong reputation in the local area for providing excellent client care and service.
