It’s that time of year again. The SRA are collecting their annual AML and Sanctions data in June and July this year. There are 44 questions to be answered and you must complete the questionnaire regardless of whether you carry out any of the activities in scope of the MLR2017 or not.

You may think that answering the questions is quite easy and you have plenty of time to answer the questionnaire but for a lot of firms it can be difficult because of the way you store and categorise your data. Even if this is the case the SRA would expect you to make best efforts to answer the questions.

In this one hour session we will look at the questionnaire in more detail and at the ways you can pull the required information together. We will look at:

  • Why does the SRA need this information?
  • Do you need to complete the questionnaire as you don’t undertake work covered by the MLR2017?
  • The 44 questions in more detail and where to get your answers
  • How do you send your responses?
  • What happens next?

Don’t leave the questionnaire to the last minute. Be prepared!
