Description

The fantastic Jo Morris is back! The SRA AML Annual Report 24-25 was released at the end of October 2025. In a year where we have seen so many law firms fined for AML failings this report makes for some interesting reading.

What do the figures look like?

  • The SRA carried out 935 proactive AML engagements with firms during the reporting period – big increase from the 545 carried out in the previous reporting period
  • There was a total of 151 enforcement and SDT outcomes
  • £953,333 was the total number of fines agreed through RSA’s and adjudication
  • The most shocking figure – almost one third of the firms engaged with in this reporting period were non compliant!

In this session we will look at the facts, figures and findings from the report and ways in which we can improve.
