Quarterly Compliance Update for Law firms
Description
Introduction
It’s that time again! Another quarter has passed and it hasn’t slowed down in light of
changes in the compliance world.
We have seen further fines in relation to AML compliance and accounts rules breaches. The
SRA are in the middle of their data collection exercise which requires a lot of input from us
and they continue with their thematic reviews and audit visits to our firms and would expect
us to be up to date when they visit.
We also have to sign off the declaration of continuing competence at the end of October when renewing our practising certificates. The list of jobs to be done goes on and on.
Have you ever wished you could go to one place to get all your updates. Well now you can!
This is our third quarterly compliance update of 2024 – one webinar every quarter to keep
you on the right track. We will be looking at all the new releases from the SRA and the
regulations and guidance together with some of the key news items to learn lessons from.
We can’t give you an agenda at the moment as we don’t know what’s going to be released
but we will look at all the new changes and updates from July, August and September in this
webinar.
Join us on this lunchtime session to keep you up to date!
