Description

The number of SRA AML audits nearly doubled in 2024/25 and show no sign of slowing down in this reporting year. There’s now more chance now than ever before of your firm being chosen for an audit. The report confirms that almost a third of the law firms reviewed by the SRA, either by desk-based review or onsite inspection, were non-compliant. Only 13% were fully compliant with the remainder being partially compliant. These figures need to improve.

How hard is it be fully compliant? What do you need to have in place and what does your firm need to be doing to make it compliant? Are you ready to receive your email from the SRA to say you have been chosen for a desk-based review or onsite inspection?

There is a lot you can do to be prepared for an SRA visit and to come out of it with a fully compliant rating.

In this one hour webinar we will look at the following:

· Why have you been chosen for a visit?

· What happens after that initial contact?

· Which documents will the SRA ask you to produce?

· What will happen on the day of the review?

· What will happen after the visit?

· How to get your firm and your staff prepared to make this a smooth experience
