Description

Have you ever felt that you don’t get the credit you deserve in your firm? That the top clients and opportunities given to others, even though you would be ideally suited? You may assume that your work will speak for itself. But in your career, not everyone sees the good work you do. And with so many distractions in the modern legal sector, you need to work smarter to make an impact.

Self-promotion involves talking about your strengths, achievements, values, what you stand for, and how you can help. But many of us are taught that boasting about our achievements is a cardinal sin. When we see others do it, it can jar.

This talk will help solicitors feel confident about ensuring that everyone knows about their great work in a way that’s authentic to them and without feeling that they’ve lost their self-respect. It’s based on a key reframing of the concept that makes it more about others and less about you.
