Defining your Personal Leadership Brand
Description
Our brand is our opinion about ourselves – our expertise, our experience, our personality – all rooted in our values. It’s never too early to think about how you can position yourself for your next career move, whether that’s moving from paralegal to a SQC training contract, deciding on a specialism, getting promoted or moving firm. This session is about creating your brand and understanding how you can share it with others authentically as you build your career. When we do this, we have the power to shape our reputation to influence what others see of us and, therefore, what they may say about us when we are not in the room.
This session will:
- Explain why brand is important and how it influences how others think about us
- Look at what makes up our brand and give you an opportunity to reflect on what these components are for your personal brand
- Show how you take all that information and form a “brand statement” or summary of your brand
- Give you ideas for sharing your brand with others in a professional and authentic way
